Get A-Head - Who we are...

Get A-Head is now into its 14th year of fund raising and which is still going from strength to strength! For those of you who know us then you'll know the journey has been a long and arduous one at times but for those of you who dont, then please see our history page for more information. Our aims and projects remain the same - to raise money to help those who suffer from cancer and other diseases of the head and neck either via research, education or the purchase of vital equipment. With over £2 million under our belts already we have gone a very long way in reaching these goals but the storey doesnt end there. We still need to continue our work so that vital projects can be completed, new projects can begin and various specialist personnel can continue to be funded. For those of you who already know us, we have in the past run several very successful events such as the Chase Midlands Cricket Day and the Ultimate Ball. But times are changing and a fresh, new, innovative approach is now needed so we can move Get A-Head into the 21st Century. Hence this new and exciting website! We've taken alot of time to ensure that this site is as comprehensive and useful as possible, so we can keep you informed with many links to various other useful sites and up-dates regarding the charities progress and events. SO, you can now donate on-line, sign up for newsletters, find information for patients and a whole lot more. The DONATE NOW feature not only allows you to make a one off donation but also to arrange for a regular payment, which is fundamental to the up-keep of our important work. Check out our events, or bid for one of our auction prizes, there's loads to see and do on our new website, so please take the time to have a look around!! Want to know more about who we are?
