Get A-Head events

The Get A-Head Charity will be the beneficiary of funds raised at the Fashion Showcase being held at the Royal Leamington Spa Polo Club, Stoneythorpe Hall, Southam, Warwickshire CV47 2DL on Thursday 10th September. From 5.30pm to 6.30pm there is a champagne reception and at 6.45pm there will be a Polo match featuring a team from The Get A-Head Charity.

Our Annual Ball is on Saturday 14th November and will be held at The Metropole Hotel NEC, Birmingham. Entertaining us this year is Micky Pugh MC, Bobby Davro, Johnny & The Zephyrs and Lord Jeffrey Archer; who will be our auctioneer for the evening. The Christmas Party for the members of the Patient Liaison Network will be held this year on Friday 4th December at the Nautical Club in Bishopsgate Street, Birmingham. (Located near Five Ways). More details will follow.

Mike Hargreaves of Coltham Developments hosts this annual event for us. Twenty teams of four compete for all sorts of prizes and some compete for the sake of it! All of which is good fun and held at the Edgbaston Golf Club, a perfect venue. After a hard day on the course, we all head off into the sumptuous dining room and enjoy the attention of the staff whilst tucking into 3-course dinner followed by the awards and a bit of fun with an auction thrown in!! Tom Bromwich will be holding a private dinner at the Leamington Real Tennis Club in Leamington Spa. Guest speaker will be Nigel Wray. Beautiful food provided by Pino and Caroline Iacaruso of Take Two Cooks and discerning wine provided by Laura Taylor of Private Cellar. Tickets have all been sold.

This very popular un-missable event will be held on Sunday 7th June in the delightful surroundings at Mulberry House in the Worcestershire countryside. Music will be provided by The Jazz Ramblers. A fabulous lunch courtesy of Sally Hadfield of Catering 2000 with Buck's Fizz on arrival and delectable wines provided by Nick Underwood of Underwoods Wines. Entertaining us further will be Jack Montgomery and topping the bill will be Brian Conley. Tickets have almost sold out!
