What is Cancer?
Cancer occurs when part of your body grows in an uncontrollable way and damages other healthy parts. One group of abnormal cells grows and multiplies in a disorderly way having escaped from the normal control mechanisms which orchestrate their behaviour.

2. Hoarseness
3. Ulcers
4. Swellings
5. Red or white patches
inside the mouth
6. Difficulty or pain on
swallowing
7. Loosening of the teeth

How Cancer Spreads
As these abnormal cancer cells grow, and produce an enlarging lump, they can also invade other neighbouring normal areas by breaking down the barriers which keep the bodys cells in order. Cancer can grow locally forming a lump, but sometimes it can also spread to more distant areas through drainage channels called the lymphatic system, and through the blood.
